I had my eyes lasered at Iowa EyeCare and everyone always asks me two questions.

1) Did it hurt?

2) Am I glad I did it?

In response to #1, the pain was completely tolerable for me. I expected it to be excruciating, but it wasn't at all. At its worst, it felt like I had suntan lotion in my eyes.

In response to #2, ABSOLUTELY! I got glasses when I was 6 and contacts when I was a teenager. I remember knocking my glasses off my nightstand in college and literally having to crawl around the floor and feel my way around until I found them.

Now, those days are over. When I get ready for bed, I don't have to peel my contacts off my tired eyes. I can wake up in the middle of the night and see the alarm clock on the other side of the room. Having my eyes lasered was a fantastic decision that I appreciate every day.
